Project Description
Guanling Ice & Snow Town is located in Yongning Town, Guanling Autonomous County, Anshun, Guizhou Province. With an aggregate investment of RMB 380 million and a land area of 830 mu, it’s designed to be an international European cultural town themed with Ice & Snow for common development of Ice & Snow town. Centered on Sports, Fashion and Health, it combines sports and tourism and incorporates such sports and leisure cultural elements as Ice & Snow, horsemanship, racing and wine. It’s a powerful partnership among domestically famous enterprises like ES Ice & Snow, County Down Club, Shanghai International Wine & Spirits Museum, ATRADEZ, Agricultural University Peshawar and Suzhou Benlei Racing Club. While Phase 1 is focused on the construction of supporting tourism facilities like Indoor Ski Resort, Equestrian Club and Short Racing Track, Phase 2 is about the construction of Shooting Club, Military Experience Zone and Manor Farm.
As one of the core commercial forms of Guanling Ice & Snow Town, the Indoor Ski Resort is constructed by ES Ice & Snow and invested with RMB 148 million. With a gross floor area of 20000m², it’s Guizhou’s first indoor ski resort. This integrated indoor ski resort has a daily reception capacity of 3000 visitors and an annual reception capacity over 600,000 visitors. Within the Center are a Ski Area of 8700 m², a Snow Area of 6200m² and a Leisure Service Center of 5000m². The Ski Area offers a ski run 157m long and 53m wide with a maximum gradient of 12 degrees. It can accommodate 500 skiers at the same time and provide professional ski coaching to meet the demand of skiers at different levels. The Snow Area is designed with a variety of attractions, including Snow Tube, Snow Tank, Crazy Snowball Fight and Passion Ice Run about 2000m². The proprietary Indoor Distributed Snowmaking System of ES Ice & Snow has been adopted to create a 24-h immersive ice & snow experience throughout the year, and an all-around exciting ice & snow sports experience.
